Bag Policy

• The following bag restrictions are in place at Wrigley Field. Backpacks (including clear backpacks), hard-sided coolers (regardless of size) and bags larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are NOT permitted at Wrigley Field.
• Other bags (such as wallets, purses, drawstring bags, fanny packs, lunch bags, briefcases and soft-sided coolers) smaller than 16 x 16 x 8 inches in size are permitted.
• Exceptions will be made for medical bags and diaper bags that accompany guests with young children. Bags are subject to inspection.
• The Cubs do not offer large bag or luggage storage, so please plan accordingly.

Gate/seating info

• Gates open For most games, gates will open 90 minutes prior to first pitch. Gates will open two hours before first pitch for Opening Day, Saturday games and special occasions, unless otherwise specified. Each mobile ticket includes an assigned entry gate to assist with the entry and exit process. Visit Cubs.com/Gates to view Wrigley Field gate locations.

Parking

• Ride-Share (Uber/Lyft) Ride-Share and pick-ups are typically restricted in the immediate vicinity of the park to manage traffic. It is recommended to use the designated zones on Irving Park Road or several blocks south of the stadium.
• Tailgating Tailgating is not permitted in any of the Cubs-operated parking lots.
• Official Lots The Toyota Camry Lot (1126 W. Grace St.) and Toyota RAV4 Lot (1140 W. Eddy St.) are primarily for season parking holders.
• Free Remote Parking Available for night and weekend games at 4650 N. Clarendon Ave. (New location for 2026). This includes a free shuttle service starting two hours before the first pitch.

Food and Drink

• Soda Coca-Cola products
• Water You may bring in factory-sealed plastic water bottles. Non-factory sealed bottles are only permitted if they are empty. Glass bottles, cans, and thermoses are prohibited. Water fountains are located throughout the ballpark for refills.
• Food Guests can bring a personal amount of food in a small, clear, disposable bag.

Insider tips

• Remember your first trip to Wrigley Field with a personalized First Timer's Certificate. First Timer's Certificates are available at the First Timer’s location inside the Gallagher Way Gate on the main concourse.
• Take the CTA Red Line to the Addison station; it drops you one block from the park, saving you from high-priced, crowded parking.
• While most seats are good, be careful of seating in the 200-level, as support columns can obstruct views. The 100-level lower bowl and the first section of the upper deck offer great, unobstructed views.
• Bleacher seats are unassigned (general admission), allowing you to pick your spot, but they are sun-drenched and social. If you catch a home run ball hit by the opposing team, you are expected to throw it back.
• Enjoy pre-game and surrounding neighborhood. Explore Gallagher Way right next to the stadium for drinks, food, and activities. Famous nearby bars like Murphy’s Bleachers and Cubby Bear offer great atmosphere.
• Skip the ketchup on your Chicago-style dog and look for local favorites, including Italian beef and sausages.
• Iconic Photo Ops...Take a picture with the famous red marquee sign at Clark and Addison.
